Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") governs the terms under which users of Ottodeals, operated by Ottodeals Network, may cancel services, request refunds, or request replacement of leads for payments made on www.ottodeals.com. By using our platform and making any payment, you agree to this Policy along with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Nature of Services
Ottodeals is an online used car marketplace that facilitates vehicle listings and the purchase of verified sales leads. Our services primarily include providing access to vehicle listings and sharing seller contact information with buyers upon successful lead purchase. Once a lead is delivered, the service is considered fully fulfilled.
Cancellation Policy
Users may cancel a vehicle listing at any time through their account dashboard. However, once a lead purchase transaction is successfully completed and the seller’s contact information is disclosed to the buyer, the transaction cannot be cancelled, as the service is deemed fully delivered at that point.
Ottodeals reserves the right to remove or cancel any listing at its discretion if it violates platform policies, contains misleading or fraudulent information, or breaches applicable laws.
Refund Eligibility
All payments made for lead purchases are generally non-refundable once the seller’s contact details have been disclosed to the buyer.
Refunds may only be considered in limited and exceptional circumstances, including:
- Duplicate or accidental payments for the same lead
- Technical errors resulting in failure to deliver lead details
- Payment gateway failure causing incorrect deduction
- Verified system or platform errors preventing service delivery
All refund requests are subject to verification and approval by Ottodeals at its sole discretion.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Buyer dissatisfaction after receiving lead information
- Failure to successfully connect with the seller after purchase
- Incorrect assumptions regarding vehicle condition, pricing, or availability
- Disputes or disagreements between buyer and seller after lead exchange
- Change of mind after purchase
- Misuse of the platform or violation of Terms and Conditions
Replacement Lead Policy
In certain cases, Ottodeals may offer a replacement lead instead of a refund. A replacement lead may be provided only when:
- The seller’s contact details provided are invalid or unreachable at the time of purchase
- The listing is found to be fraudulent or incorrectly published due to platform error
- The lead cannot be delivered due to a verified technical issue on the platform
Replacement leads are subject to availability of similar listings and are provided solely at the discretion of Ottodeals. Replacement requests must be raised within a reasonable time after purchase. Once a replacement lead is provided, the original transaction is considered fulfilled and no further replacement or refund shall be applicable for the same purchase.
Lead-Based Service Acknowledgment
By purchasing a lead, users acknowledge that:
- Seller contact information is shared immediately after successful payment
- Ottodeals does not guarantee that a vehicle sale will occur
- Ottodeals is not responsible for negotiation outcomes between buyers and sellers
- The service value lies in access to verified seller contact information
Payment Gateway and Processing
All payments on Ottodeals are processed through third-party payment gateways such as PhonePe or other authorized payment service providers. Ottodeals does not store or have access to sensitive financial information such as debit card numbers, credit card details, CVV, UPI PIN, or banking passwords.
Payment processing, authentication, and security are handled entirely by the respective payment gateway in accordance with their own security standards and privacy policies. Users are subject to the terms and policies of the selected payment provider when completing a transaction.
Ottodeals may retain limited transaction-related information such as payment status, transaction ID, and timestamp for record-keeping, reconciliation, customer support, and dispute resolution purposes.
In case of payment failures where money is deducted but the transaction is not completed, users may be eligible for a refund or reversal subject to confirmation from the payment gateway and banking partners. Processing timelines for such reversals are determined by the respective financial institutions and are outside the control of Ottodeals.
Chargebacks and Disputes
Users agree to first contact Ottodeals support before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or payment provider. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in suspension or permanent termination of the user account and restriction from future access to the platform.
Policy Changes
Ottodeals reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time without prior notice. Updates will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
