When you list a vehicle on our platform, we collect vehicle-related information including the vehicle registration number, VIN or chassis number, engine number, Registration Certificate (RC) details, insurance details, ownership history, vehicle photographs, asking price, vehicle location, and other specifications or information necessary to review and publish the listing. This information enables us to verify the authenticity of vehicle listings and provide accurate information to prospective buyers.

In addition to the information you provide directly, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our website. This includes your IP address, browser type, and information collected through cookies and similar technologies. We also use tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand website usage, improve user experience, measure website performance, and enhance our services.

How We Use Your Information

Vehicle Verification

Every vehicle submitted for listing on Ottodeals undergoes a manual verification process before it is published on our platform. Our verification process is designed to improve the quality of listings and reduce fraudulent or misleading advertisements. However, verification by Ottodeals should not be interpreted as a guarantee regarding the condition, ownership, legal status, or quality of any vehicle. Sellers remain solely responsible for ensuring that all vehicle information, documents, and photographs submitted are accurate, complete, authentic, and lawful.

Lead Purchase and Information Sharing

To protect the privacy of our users, seller contact details are not displayed publicly on vehicle listings. Contact information remains hidden until a lead is successfully purchased. Once a buyer, whether an individual or a registered dealer, completes the purchase of a lead, the seller's contact details are shared with the buyer. At the same time, the seller receives the buyer's name and mobile number so that both parties may communicate directly regarding the vehicle. Users agree that any personal information shared through this process shall be used solely for genuine vehicle buying and selling purposes and shall not be used for unsolicited marketing, harassment, or any unlawful activity.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Ottodeals uses cookies and similar technologies to improve your browsing experience and enhance the functionality of our website. Payments

Payments for lead purchases are processed through PhonePe or its authorized payment services.
